Unexpected loss

Santa Croce conceded an expected defeat at the hands of Perugia 3-0. Cannestracci’s men were in the game only at the beginning before finding it more and more difficult as the game wore on. Santa Croce were without middle blocker Candellaro, while Cetrullo was the only one standing out in a team that gave up too soon.
