Sora strengthened its squad with the signing of middle blocker Daniele Moretti, nicknamed ‘Moro’. Born in 1980, Moretti came up in Macerata’s youth ranks from 1995 to 2000, and he was also part of the first team the last two seasons, alongside some great players such as Meoni, Zorzi, Rosalba, Held, Kovac, Herpe and Fei. In 2008-09, he helped Latina win the A2 Cup and get promoted in the A1. He was last seen in Forli.
“Each year, I have always tried to improve my game – said Moro – During the season you never think of where you’re going to play next but this summer, Sora was the one that showed the most interest. I visited the city and met some great people, and I felt the club really thought of me as an important part of the group and that’s really important for a player”.
