Reggio Emilia welcomed Monza in the PalaBigi arena for what has been a positive test to prepare for the coming game against Isernia. In spite of being without the internationals De Cecco, Shumov, Nikic and Rooney, Monza could still line up excellent players such as Gavotto, Rossini, Molteni and Forni. Alessandro Tondo and Giorgio Barbareschi stood out for Reggio, they looked in great shape, while Luppi and Ippolito, both dealing with minor injuries, were rested.
