Verona’s newcomer, Stefano Patriarca, made his International debut with Italy in the World League victory against Sourth Korea this Sunday. Thanks to this win, Italy are through to the final phase to take place in Danzica in Poland.
“It’s been a great feeling – said Patriarca – It was great to see that Berruto wanted to give me this opportunity even after my injury. I should have started with the group and I was worried I would not recover on time. But now I am fine and extremely happy to have made my debut”.
