Volley Segrate conceded a tight first set 31-29 against Corigliano but eventually came out on top 3-1 to keep a four-point advantage on Castellana Grotte at the top of the league. This was victory number nine and one obtained without Bram Van Den Dries, who is currently with his national team.
“We are very happy because Corigliano is a tough place to go to – said Marco Fabroni – And we did it having to change our starting six. Corigliano made it difficult for us in the first set with their serve, while our understanding with Baranek in position 2 was not good. From the second set on, with Botto as outside hitter, everything went much better”.
