Matteo De Cecco became Verona’s new athletic trainer. The former Latina player hanged up his boots two years ago after seven seasons in the A2, winning the A2 Cup in 2009. The following season he made his debut on the bench as Medei’s assistant.
“I have been lucky to play until 40-years of age – explained De Cecco – Then I had the opportunity to work as Medei’s assistant coach. I owe a lot to Medei who launched my new career”.
