The Latina team 2011-12 will be a young one. The club signed one of the most promising Greek players in Andreas Dimitrios Fragkos. The 20-year-old spiker has already made his debut as starter in his national team in the European League against Austria. Fragkos came up in Panellinios but played last season for Olympiacos, where he won the league-cup double and took part in the champions League.
“We really believe in this young Greek, who has already shown what he can do in his country – said Candido Grande – We took him with a two-year contract because we are certain he can immediately have an impact at the highest level in our championship”.
