Roma failed to seal the season with a win. Everyone really wanted it, to redeem themselves from the debacle in Latina and the failure to make it in the playoffs but that wasn’t to be.
“I really can’t reproach anything to my boys regarding lack of character – said coach Giani – We had the moral obligation to leave it out on the floor and that’s what we’ve done for three sets. We had the character and will, which I had not seen in Latina. All in all, we lost because of technical limitations, mistakes, not because we lacked competitive spirit”.
