US star Gabriel Gardner, who won the gold medal with the his National team at the last Olympic Games signed a contract with Perugia. The outside hitter is already in town, he will report in training tomorrow. Gardner had a prestigious career so far, he played in Greece, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Italy, Russia, Turkey and Qatar. He was recently seen in Milan in 2007-08, at Ural Ufa, Russia, in 2008-09 and he helped Fenerbahce win the Turkish league title last season.
