European Cup action is back this week, starting Tuesday with Cuneo travelling to Poitiers (France) in the Champions League. Poitiers is currently top of the group thanks to 3-1 wins over Budejovice and Unterhaching. A tough one for Gulinelli’s team which wants to bounce back following the loss against Budejovice before the World Cup. On Wednesday, Trentino plays host to the Polish side of Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle with the top spot at stake as both teams have gathered maximum points so far. On Thursday, Macerata will be in Austria to meet Innsbruck, bottom of the group, with the possibility to go top as Fenerbahce faces a tricky game against Novosibirsk.
