The Volley Market event began on Tuesday in Bologna’s Hotel Regency, where all the staffs of the Serie A teams gathered. At 3pm, coaches and members of managerial staff assisted to a special meeting on the Under 23 project, which is a summer camp aimed at improving the skills of the young players. The latest camp ended just a few days ago. “This project must continue to exist in the long term” said coach Flavio Gulinelli, who guided the last edition. The second meeting of the day was with the department of the referees, represented by Benito Montesi, Vito Sante Achille and Umberto Suprani. Some regulations and specific cases were at the centre of the discussions as the referees are aiming to offer an homogeneous whistle during the season.
The second day will be dedicated to the last signings of the various clubs and to the Media Day, while the season Calendars will be out on Thursday.
