Past encounters: 60 (32-28 Cuneo)

Vladimir Nikolov (Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo): “We’ve won Game 4 but have to put our focus on Game 5, we haven’t done anything yet. The game will start at 0-0. It will surely be a tight and very difficult encounter. I’d like to tell all our fans to come at the PalaBreBanca on Sunday, we really need a hand and all their support”.

Marko Podrascanin (Lube Banca Marche Macerata): “We wasted our first big opportunity by losing Game 4 on Wednesday, but we still have all our chance to go to the final, which we desperately want. We have already won in Cuneo last week and we’ll go there knowing we can make it again. The important factors to make the breakthrough will be composure and determination, while in terms of play, we’ll need to limit the mistakes on the serve like it happened to us the other night. We believe we can do it”.

Itas Diatec Trentino – Casa Modena

(2-2)

Past encounter: 37 (22-15 Trento)

Emanuele Birarelli (Itas Diatec Trentino): “Game 5 will be our final. It’s not right to think about V-Day before getting there and we’ve not qualified yet. We know what to expect, an in-or-out game in which Modena will play well again like in Game 4, in which it did extraordinary things, not only on the serve but in dig as well. It will be a great battle”.

Angel Dennis (Casa Modena): “Thursday night in the Modena arena has been fantastic and thrilling, and it’s great to have earned this Game 5 in Trento. We have improved, we are more aware of our ability, we enjoy our game more. Trento is a great team, and they’re the favourites, we’ll try our best, we’re having fun and we know what we can do. We know each other well now, we’ll have to do a good job containing their serve, their series can make the difference”.
