We have already won in Cuneo last week and we’ll go there knowing we can make it again. The important factors to make the breakthrough will be composure and determination, while in terms of play, we’ll need to limit the mistakes on the serve like it happened to us the other night. We believe we can do it”.

We have improved, we are more aware of our ability, we enjoy our game more. Trento is a great team, and they’re the favourites, we’ll try our best, we’re having fun and we know what we can do. We know each other well now, we’ll have to do a good job containing their serve, their series can make the difference”.

Padova versus Santa Croce: Game 2
On Sunday May 8th at 4pm, the A2 playoff final series will kick off. Padova and Santa Croce will fight it out to become the second team to go up with Ravenna, the regular season winner. To get there, Padova knocked out Sora and Isernia in the quarters, while Santa Croce got rid of Genova and Città di Castello in the semis. The two teams have met 11 times in history with Santa Croce 6-5 ahead. Padova will start the series with a 1-0 advantage thanks to their better regular season position in accordance with the new formula.
