Perugia won Game 4 of the Playout final too and will stay up in the A2. The boys of coach Fant had knocked out Mantova in the semi-finals and now got rid of Gela 3-1 despite the fact that the Sicilian team was given a 1-0 lead at the beginning of the series because of its better position at the end of the regular season. Never mind, Perugia won three consecutive games to breath a sigh of relief and celebrate another season in the Serie A2. Gela goes down in the B1, together with Club Italia, Pineto and Mantova.
