CASA MODENA – ACQUA PARADISO MONZA BRIANZA 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-22)

CASA MODENA: Manià (L), Ciabattini (L), Kooistra 15, Mossa De Rezende 2, Dennis 15, Berezhko 5, Creus Larry 13, Casoli 2, Diaz 3, Piscopo. DNP Fabroni, Kooy, Casadei. Coach. Bagnoli.

ACQUA PARADISO MONZA BRIANZA: Rauwerdink, Forni 3, Molteni 10, Buti 3, Rooney 6, Travica 2, Gavotto 14, Shumov 4, Exiga (L). DNP Cetrullo, Pesenti, Krumins, Zito. Coach. Monti.

Modena had the better of Monza at home in Game 4 and pushes the series to the decisive Game 5 to be played on Wednesday in Monza. The hosts played with great intensity and quality: 70% in reception and 62% in attack. Brazilian setter Bruninho was named MVP.

Daniele Bagnoli (coach Casa Modena): “We played an excellent game, we have done well in just about every area of the game. Berezhko was not hundred percent fit, while I am very happy with Diaz’s contribution. This is a player that does more in games than in training, he’s not at his best, but he is improving day after day. Another tough game is ahead of us on Wednesday, this will be our V-Day…”.

Simone Buti (Middle blocker Acqua Paradiso Monza Brianza): “They play one gear above at home. Their serve really made it hard for us, and they were perfect in reception, which allowed Bruninho to serve his teammates well. On Wednesday, we’re back at home, though, we have to change our attitude and start off really up for it and aggressive. At home in these playoffs, we have shown a different level, hopefully we’ll do as well as in the previous games”.
