They clearly won the first and third set while they had to come from behind to win the second. Game 3 on Wednesday in Monza.
Daniele Bagnoli (coach Casa Modena): “We could feel we were tense and had the pressure after the recent defeats. Besides, we’re not at our best physically, some players have a few problems and we struggled to train properly. The boys did a great job, they played extremely well, and this level of play awoke our heart and pride. We proved we could do it, this victory will give us a great boost. It was very tight between the two teams, now it’s 1-1 and time to start over again”.
Luca Monti (coach Acqua Paradiso Monza Brianza): “We won it at home on Wednesday and we knew that coming here and win in Modena for the second time in a week was going to be very difficult. Modena used the serve very well, while we struggled in attack. It’s 1-1, let’s prepare game 3…”.
