Never nice to comment a defeat but coach Gato is fair play and can analyse a game even when it went wrong.

We had a chance to turn things around in the second set, but Cardona’s serve made the difference. A couple of aces and a couple of bad plays from ourselves meant they could close the gap. Tied at 23, though, we put our heads down while they were well up for it”.
