“I am extrmely happy to be here – said newsigning Valentin Braotev – Before accepting, though, I asked advice from Trento’s General Manager, Giuseppe Cormio, who I respect a lot and I totally trust. He told me Sora was an excellent club, I would not need worry. He said it could be the perfect solution for me as a young player to be able to have court time. Following the experience in Vibo, I was very sad and I had decided not to play anymore in Italy even if that is the dream of any foreign player. But then my twin brother told me: ‘you have started this season in Italy and the right thing is to finish it there. If you want to go to other countries for money, do it but in my opinion it is important to play in a strong league like the Italian one, especially before the Olympic Games’. From that moment, I did not have any doubt, sadness went away and now I really want to show what kind of player I am and help the team reach its target”.
