Thanks to a 3-1 victory in Bassano and Roma’s loss at the hand of Padova (3-0), Bologna moved up to second position in the league table, level on point with the team from the capital. Without Pablo Bianchi (been out for a while because of back problems), Facundo Conte (ankle) and Gianluca Pellegrino (flu) Hugo Conte’s team still performed well. Bologna dominated the first set before being pegged back. However, it took the next two sets mainly thanks to a good reception, which made Uriarte’s job easier as a setter.
