Isernia couldn’t earn safety with a game in hand. It did win against Città di Castello but at the tie-break, and the two points are not enough to celebrate, as the results from the other courts did not help Isernia’s cause. It will therefore all be down to the last encounter against Gioia del Colle. The latter are already certain to go down following their defeat against Ravenna.
