On the night Italy beat Germany and earned its pass to the Palalottomatica gym, Sora fought hard against Roma in the gym hosting the World Championships. As expected, the game proved to be a great volleyball show with five tight sets. Sora had the game in hand at 14-12 but Tomatis and Corsini extended the drama. In the end, Roma snatched it on a Cisolla spike. Sora will therefore meet Aereonautica Militare for third place at 4.30pm, while the final will be Roma versus Latina at 7pm.
