Roma brought in another player after the signing of Nicolas Uriarte: it is Gianluca Saraceni. The spiker from Roma played for Vibo Valentia last season. Saraceni had started very young in the capital in 1995 and was part of the team that won the last title in 2000. He left in 2002 and played for Montichiari, Perugia and Macerata.
“I prayed for Roma to get back in the A1 – said Saraceni – Then, I told myself: ok, top volleyball is back in the capital, I just can’t miss it. I hoped somebody would help me to make this dream come true”.
