In their third friendly game, Giani’s boys controlled the first two sets until they wasted a couple of important break points. In the clutch moments, the Russians made their physical superiority at the net count. The respective coaches decided to play a fourth set in order to get court time to the younger players. Roma won it 25-18. Giani’s team will be back on court tomorrow against Sora for the Lazio Cup, which is scheduled at 8pm.
