New sport director Bino Rizzuto worked all summer and has a say before the beginning of the season.
“We met with the president during the playoffs last season and had the idea that, if the club was to be promoted we’d look to find an agreement. It ended in the defeat in the final, but the president has always thought it deserved the A2. So when we realised this could be done, we asked to be considered. This is where our collaboration began and here I am, ready for a beautiful challenge. As for the summer, it’s been two intense and difficult months. We had little time to build the team but in the end we got the players we had in mind”.
