“As the chairman already said yesterday at the end of the final against Trento, the club is extremely satisfied with the team, but more than just for this final, for the results obtained last week. We are the only team of the Final Four which has not had the whole week to prepare it. We played and won an important game in the Cev Cup in France” said GM Marco Pistolesi.
“I know my players have left it all out on the floor – said coach Giuliani – The team played good volleyball, even if that has not been enough to win the cup”.
“It was hard not to be able to play – said captain Wijmans who had physical problems – The team played well, we knew we could make it difficult for Trento. With a little bit more luck, we could have won the fourth set and go to the tie-break”.
