It is official, Marco Meoni is Verona’s new setter. Experience, technique and character are the winning weapons of the former Piacenza player. Since 1990, Meoni has been amongst the bests at national and international level, being elected best setter in the World League 2002 and 2008 and also in the Champions League. In 2009, he helped Piacenza to win its first ever league title and the super cup.
“Any club would like to have a setter like Meoni” said Cottarelli.
