Verona registered a tremendous victory over Piacenza. The hosts dominated at the net with 18 blocks, 5 from Howard and 5 from Kromm.

Compared to the first meeting against them, we received a lot better and did not concede as many aces. 18 blocks against the Italian champs is definitely a great result, you could see they were struggling and they could not find a way to get passed us”.
