In Bolzano, Trentino collected its first victory of the season at the expense of the Austrian champions of Innsbruck. After the defeat against Kazan on Friday, the World Champions immediately bounced back with a straight set win against a team that had dominated its league last season and had gone as far as the quarter finals in the Champions League.

“There is still an awful lot to do, especially at the net – said coach Stoytchev – We are very far from the kind of volleyball we want to show to compete at a high level. Having said that, the spirit with which the boys played this game was excellent”.
