Genova got some useful points for the seventh time this season. Thanks to its victory over Pineto, it moves up to fifth position in the league table. Despite being without Zappaterra and Manassero, Genova offered another excellent performance to the numerous fans that came to the PalaFigoi gym. Paoletti and Ogurcak were the ones stealing the headlines.
“We obtained this fifth place in the league thanks to the work of the whole group – said sport director Augusto Bruschettini – Everybody pulls together in the difficult moments. This time again, the boys have done a great job of coming out of a tricky situation against a good team”.
