Andrea Garghella is one of the most experienced players in Padova, together with Davide Tovo. Used as a libero last year, he had to adapt to the wing because of a series of injuries that struck the team. Overall he scored 29 points and is now back in his natural position as he is getting ready to face Roma, Isernia and Città di Castello in just seven days.
“All difficult games –said Andrea – Maybe Roma is the most in-form team. We might be stronger than Rome as a group but they have stronger individual players. The two Cubans can lead their team to clear victories, but they also influence the performance of the rest of the group. Then, Isernia is tough in its gym and as far as Città di Castello is concerned, on his day Rosalba can do great things”.
