After seven unforgettable seasons in the Serie A, Bassano will go back down to the B1. Still, it can do so head high, as it fought hard, first to snatch a place in the playouts and then to push Mantova to the deciding game, in which the decision came down to a couple of actions in the tie-break. Besides, the club can be proud to have resisted at such a level during all those years without a main sponsor. In those 7 years, Bassano was the surprise team of the A2 in its first season, then it took part 4 times in the playoffs, reaching the final in May 2005 against Cagliari.
