BWIN.COM renews partnership with the Italian Serie A1.
The video coverage of the Italian A1 and the League events, already well implanted in Brazil with ESPN Brazil, in the Middle East and Africa with Al Jazeera Sport, and in Europe from this season with Eurosport 2, will now make one further step forward by renewing its agreement with BWIN.COM. The Internet site will broadcast the Serie A games every week all over the world, thanks to live streaming available on www.bwin.com.
Diego Mosna, President of the Italian Volleyball League Serie A confirms: “With this last contract we can say we have put together the largest operation ever undertaken from our league in terms of TV rights. We are now visible all over the world, as it already occurred in other seasons, but with an even more widespread distribution. And as always, we thank Rai and Sportitalia which complete the work with the Italian coverage”.
European Cups
Wins for all five Italians.
Trento, Cuneo, Treviso and Macerata need the tie-break
All five Italian teams came away from their European debut with a smile. In the Champions League, Trentino, Cuneo and Treviso had tough starts but they all snatched it at the tie-break. On the other hand, Modena registered a straight set victory at the expense of the Craotian from Mladost Zagreb in the Cev Cup 16th of finals. Macerata was successful too in the Challenge Cup second round first leg: Berruto’s men, without Martino and POdrascanin, found it hard in Belgrade but it defeated the hosts at the tie-break. Young Facundo Conte made the starting line up and finished top scorer with 19 points.
