A home win in straight sets means Roma swept Roma out of the way to proceed to the A2 league final. Giani’s team controlled things right from the start. Roma won the first set, then totally dominated the second before Creus’ serves got Bologna back in it. Still the hosts sealed it and in the third set, Bologna seemed demoralised. Roma’s attack was the difference as Portuondo was outstanding and named MVP of the game.
