Trentino close to the Final Four
Thanks to its 3-0 win over Rzeszow in the first leg of the Champions League playoffs 6, Trentino should not have much problem to qualify for the Final Four, to be held in Lodz, Poland, on the 10 and 11 of April. Stoytchev’s boys will just need one set in the return leg on the 9 of March to reach their second consecutive Final Four.

Piacenza in Final Four
Piacenza bounced back after its Champions League exit. It is through to the Cev Cup Final Four, having grabbed the missing set they need to qualify. Indeed, they had done the job in the first leg, taking a 3-0 advantage. Piacenza will meet the winners of Cuneo versus Teruel, which is played tonight. Cuneo takes a 3-2 edge into the second leg, which they hosts. The other semi final of the 27 of March will be Noliko Maaseik (Belgium) versus Iskra Odintsovo.

First ever semi-final for Perugia
Perugia remains unbeaten in the competition and qualifies for its first ever European semi-final. It only needed a set against the Belgium team of Asse-Lennik but Di Pinto’s boys still won the encounter at the tie-break, as the back-ups finished the job off from the third set. Perugia’s opponent in the semi-final will be SCC Berlin, who had the better of Ankara (Turkey) in the quarters. The other semi-final will put face to face Zagreb (Croatia) and Liberec (Czech Republic).
