It was a tight affair in France but Cuneo came back with the goods. It defeated Tourcoing Lille Métropole 3-1 in the Cev Cup quarter final first leg. It will play the return leg next Wednesday at 7pm after the Italian Cup Final Four, which takes place in Montecatini Terme this weekend. Cuneo will try to go through to the ‘Challenge round’, in which there is already Piacenza, which comes from the Champions League. If it qualifies, Cuneo will meet the Spaniards of Cai Tereul away on the 24th of February.
