Still with a low and harsh voice, coach Alberto Giuliani explained how the Cev Cup triumph in Belgium was an intense and positive experience.
“This Final Four was played at a really high level, starting with the game against Piacenza, where the 3-0 score did not give a good account of the difficulty. Then, there was this extremely hard-fought final against a top-level Russian team. There are times in which the pressure does not allow you to play with maximum composure but on the contrary I’ve seen my team extremely composed in the moments that most mattered. This gives me a lot of confidence for the league playoffs that are about to start”.
