Nikolay Uchikov is Padova’s new outside hitter. Born in April 1986, the Bulgarian played in Levski Sofia from 2007 to 2009 before joining Cavriago via Trento last September. It did not take him long to settle in the country, he scored no less than 466 points (26 aces and 39 blocks) in 31 games.
“This is an important addition – said sport director Stefano Santuz – The group is beginning to take shape. He had a very positive year at Cavriago and hopefully his talent will be useful to us in the league”.
