Just like in a dream, Cavriago started its 2010 in great style, surely a difficult game to forget for the fans. This is the second consecutive win after the victory against Città di Castello. An excellent 3-2 last week was followed by this extraordinary 3-0. Bonitta’s boys dominated the first two sets but quickly found themselves trailing 19-12 in the third set. However, Astolfi and co were not done yet and ignited a spectacular come back to send everybody home early.
“There was no secret – said coach Bonitta – I can only congratulate my team for what they have done during a game, which we perfectly understood, at least in the first two sets. I think this represents a great win because the boys showed the right mentality”. Especially at 19-12 down one would say “Exactly, there the boys understood what I tried to explain to them, that any point can be the one that get us back in the game”.
