Just when everyone thought Bassano was doomed, it unexpectedly reacted with great pride. Without Kolev, David, Calderan as well as Fred Winters, who rescinded consensually his contract yesterday, Bassano created the upset of the day by coming back from Ravenna with a 3-2 win. Bassano’s game finally seemed to flow, it played with the attitude of a team that has nothing to lose and surprised everyone. Staying up remains a tough task, especially if we consider the quality of the last three opponents (Cavriago, Roma and Sora) but Guarise and co proved they were not ready to surrender yet.
