Ok, it was not the Champions League final, but for the many fans that were there, it really looked like it. A packed gym in Rzeszow saw Piacenza wins its first trophy of the season thanks to a 3-2 win over the hosts. Lorenzetti’s boys played with great fighting spirit and character and at times it played excellent volleyball. Zlatanov, who had 2 aces and 4 spikes in the decisive fifth set, finished top scorer and MVP.
