Vibo added Argentine spiker Rodrigo Quiroga to its roster. Born in 1987, 191cm tall, already played in Italy in the past, with Bassano and Catania in the A2. He helped the Sicilian team to the playoffs with an unexpected fifth place. His last season in Italy was so good that Montichiari, the club where his oncle Raul Quiroga played for years, showed interest.
“This is a great opportunity for me – said Rodrigo – This could be a turning point for my career. I’ve already played in Italy in the A2, which is why I am very excited to be able to play in the top division, everybody talks about it all around the world”.
