Under 18: excellent 7th place

In the national finals in Trapani, Castellana Grotte’s Under 18 team ended in 7th place thanks to their victory over Padova. In spite of guiding the youngest team of the tournament, coach Fanizza managed to lead his team amongst the top 8 teams. Castellana Grotte had been knocked out at the semi final stage by Roma, who eventually lifted aloft the trophy.
