Castellana Grotte’s junior team were knocked out of the national championship at the quarter final stage. Fanizza’s team had overcome the group stage as the best third team of all the groups but it had to surrender against one of the big favourite of the competition, Roma.
“Our main target was to go through to the final eight and we managed to do so despite the fact that our team is the youngest with three players born in 93 and four in 94”.
