On Sunday at 6pm, De Giorgi’s team will officially make its debut in the 2009-10 season with the Italian Super Cup. In Frosinone, it will be Macerata versus Piacenza, the Italian champions.
“It will be a great game – said Croatian outside hitter – It’s great to start the season like this, with a trophy at stake, but it will obviously be nicer if we manage to win it”.
This will be the fifth participation for Macerata, who won it twice: in 2006 3-1 against Cuneo and last season 3-0 against Trento.
