In a tournament taking place in Carpi, Montichiari played two games. The first one was against Modena, who won it 2-0. Then, it lost again but not without pushing the strong team of Treviso to the tie-break. Montichiari were without three starters: Molteni, Forni and Semenzato.
“These match ups proved our game was still suffering from ups and downs – said coach Berruto – It will be our job in the next few days to work to find that consistency we are still lacking”.
