The club announced it reached an agreement with Silvano Prandi, who will coach Modena for the 2009-10 season. Born in 1947 near Cuneo (San Benedetto Belbo), he just concluded his 33rd season in men’s A1. He also coached the Italian National Team from 82 to 86. He gathered a bronze medla in Los Angeles’ Olympic Games in 1984.
“Number 34 is obviously a lucky one – said Prandi – My 34th season in the A1 will be at Modena, one of the nicest and most prestigious place of my career and Italian volleyball. I did not expect it but I was hoping for it…”.
