Assistant coach from 1996 to 2007 at Treviso, Roberto Piazza has now become the club’s new head coach (he signed a two-year contract). He was introduced today in a press conference:
“It’s an honour and a surprise to have been called by Pasquale Gravina, a friend with whom I’ve worked for many years – said the new coach – An honour because I will start my career as head coach in such an important club on the world volleyball scene, and a surprise because the negotiations have gone really fast. I never had any doubt in my mind. It’s really like being back in my family”.
