The squad got nearer to completion with the arrival of spikers Giuseppe Patriarca and Janis Peda. Both athletes have signed two-year contracts. Patriarca was last season in Forli, he is an all-round player. Born in 1985 in Riga, Latvia, Janis Peda can either play as a 4 or outside hitter.
“Peda is an interesting young players with many physical attributes – explained Alberto Giuliani – We will be able to line him up in different positions. Patriarca has a lot of experience, he is good in reception as well as in dig. He is a solid quality player”.
