There was the crowd of the big games, with many fans coming from Tuscany too. The hosts needed the points to stay away from the danger zone but Santa Croce was too strong. It needed the win too in order to consolidate its first place, which would allow them to go directly up without playing the playoffs. As for Bologna, things are starting to become nervy, as it now stands just one points above the relegation zone.
