After Manuele Cricca and Yu Koshikawa, here comes the third addition for the coming season. Its name is Juan Carlos Barcala and he is outside hitter. Born in 1984 in Cadiz, Spain, he is currently in the Spanish national squad and counts already 28 caps. He played last season at Almeria and took part in the Cev Cup Final Four.
“I’m really happy to play in Italy – Barcala explained – This will be my first experience abroad. To be able to play in the Italian league makes me proud. The coach told me this was a very tough league but that I had all the necessary characteristics to do well”.
