On Sunday 18 at 6pm, Città di Castello travels to Gioia del Colle. Coach Cannestracci’s team tallied 11 wins out of the last 13 games after starting the first four games of the seasons with as many defeats, meaning Città di Castello made it to the top 5 in the league table with 30 points. The team also got better midway through December with the addition of spiker Concina.
In the last round in Crema, the boys only surrendered at the tie-break despite being without Dias and trailing 2-0 (cancelling out two match points too). On the other side of the net, Radici’s team needs to get back on track to get closer to the safety zone.
